Independence!

     In class we have been currently learning about the revolutionary war and the acts that led up to it. For example, there was a war in York Town, there was an act that led up to revolution and that was called the Boston Massacre another was the Boston tea party witch was another mini war that led up to the revolutionary war.

     A really cool thing that we are currently doing in our class is competing in different things in the American Revolution there are different "teams". One "team" is called the Patriots and the other "team" is called the loyalists. We compete in each congresses every week then we vote on each proposal "I" or "nay" WARNING: IF YOU ARE A PATRIOT DON'T READ THIS!!!!!!!! Depending if your a Patriot or a loyalist you would vote "I" or "Nay" and I'm a loyalist.

Independence

     In our class we are doing something called Independence. Independence is wpretend that we were in the war. My team is the loyalist it's not the best side but it's still fun, I think you can geuss the next team obviously a patriot. Josh is the chair person. We get to answer questions about the revolutinary war.

     I have enjoyed Being my character mostly because My character's personality is I am afraid of indians. It's been hard to be able to answer all the questions because I don't know everything. I have also enjoyed being in congress because it's like a real debate.

Independence

In my class we are doing a simulation of the american revolution. My name in it is Johnathan Macklentosh and I am a patriot. At first I was a Neutralist and that means I couldn't decide which side I wanted to be on. I love that we have the right to pick which side we want to be on.

I am a physically poured man and I am a blacksmith I have patriot, loyalist and Neutralist customers and I love to talk with them. what is hard for me is picking sides and doing the work. But I enjoy thinking about it and it seems as if I am there.

 In class my name is James Knox Worth I was a neutralist now I joined the  loyalist. My character is very unemotional, thick beard and moustache, minister of a small town, second generation scottish.

I love being able to chose which side to be on. I also love having pows which are like points you lose pow in real historical events. What is hard for me to know what were doing because it confusing. I love working in a group it's more fun than working by yourself.

Independence Simulation

  In class we are playing a game for the Revolutionary War. In the game we get random  identities, I am        a shopkeeper and i'm jewish I joined the loyalists and I think that was a good idea. In the game we get and loose POWS [money] you can get POWS by doing a challenge project, if something good happens   to you in some sort of way. You lose POWS by doing the opposite of earning POWS.

  Josh and I made a plan to trick the patriot to make them think that I was going to be on their team when I was always going to be on the loyalists. I enjoy doing challenge projects, congresses, meetings, giving PACTS [hurt people in a way] on other people. Nothing has been challenging for me except for the hero summary that was a little challenging for me.    

American Revalution

For the past month we have been studying the American Revolution. What we have done in the past was watch movies about the revolutionary war and the Boston tea party and many more arguments and wars and fights. Another thing that we have been studying was the declaration and many more heroes and heroines in the revolution that had had big parts in it. Something that I have really enjoyed was that we have been compering really times of the revolution to right now. For example, my name is Benjamin Churchill he lived in Rural and was a successful merchant.

Something that I really enjoyed was that we have been learning about one of my 2 favorite characters in the revolution and one of them actually were fighting on the team that we had the revolutionary war with witch was the British. The person that was on the British was George Washington. My first favorite character it the revolutionary war was Thomas Jefferson who was the third president of the United States and he was also really important because he wrote the declaration of independence and the declaration of independence was made to lead America and write now the declaration of independence still is leading it.

My role in the simulation is a Neutralist. You might be wondering what a neutralist is, a Neutralist is someone that is neutral For example, a Neutralist in the American Revolution is someone that can't decide what side they wan't to be on in this case Loyalist or Patriot. The class is doing really fun stuff like building Lego boats, diorama and other fantastic stuff.

 I enjoyed everything well except losing Pows. Pows stands for power units. Power units let a Patriot burn a Loyalist or a Neutralist's house or tar and feather them.  Loyalist can send people to jail and Neutralist can publicly criticize someone or refuse to pay your taxes. Something that's been hard for me was losing pows now I have 8 pows but I will gain more pows.

INDEPENDENCE

In class we are learning a lot about the American revolution. Their are three different kinds of people  i'm a neutralist their is also loyalist and patriots every on the neutralists all ready went to ether the loyalist or a patriot but. I did not go on ether side yet every on the neutralist  went to one of the other ones except me and Beloria .We made cool name tags my name for the thing we are doing is HENNRY KENNEDY.

I like doing this project because it's fun and when we do it we need to stay in character. like shoshana in her card that says all about her it says that she is scared of indians so if people talk about them she needs to act scared.

Revolution Simulation

Our class is doing a simulation of the Revolutionary war which means you get a role to play it says if your a loyalist, patriot or neutralist it also gives you facts about your self. If you are a neutralist you hear a debate or you are in the debate and that helps you decide what side you want to join. My name is Reginald Marshfield I am a neutralist I have six kids, my wifes family is from Australia, I have one leg I lost it as a child and i'm a succecful merchant that's right I my bargain a bargain.

I like doing it because history is my favorite subject and it's cool to learn about it and then act it out. I don't like the simulation when I loose pows which are stuff that keeps you healthey and well.
