Great soccer minds

In 1986 a group of boys on a floating island in Thailand would always watch soccer but never play. One day one of the boys had a great idea that they should make a team. They knew they didn’t have anywhere to play so they made a new soccer field with old planks of wood.  They would play all the time one day one of the boys came running with a flyer and it was for a soccer games.  So they entered and got to the semifinals and were down 2-0 at half time they were used to playing with out there shoes on so they took off their shoes and tied up the game 2-2 at the last min but they were still proud of themselves

TRIMESTER REFLECTION by lulu

I'v liked the topic Independence/ american revolution. Because it was really fun and interesting. even thou i never got more then 5 pows it was still really fun. We did lots of activeties like a congress and watched the best movie about the revolution. This year some of the blog posts were hard because it takes a lot of work and time. Some of the american revolution stuff were also hard because it also takes a lot effort and time. Also some other stuff i can't remember. I think the summer is going to be really fun. I think in 6th grade is going to be way harder and because we are going to have laptops and it will take more effort And new teacher that we don't know that well.

MATH NIGHT

In are class for math night we made a fruit salad equation and you needed to make a equation that went up to 16 fruit. We also played a game on the smart bored that you add equations. The blue group did something with paper air plains but i did not go to it so i don't really know about. And we also played 4 in a row  you need to role 2 dice and make a equation out of it  and get 4 in a row.




I like math night because it's fun to walk around and see all the other grades stuff. I also like that that a lot of people came to our booth. I like that not all of our class is at the booth at the same time.

INDEPENDENCE

In class we are learning a lot about the American revolution. Their are three different kinds of people  i'm a neutralist their is also loyalist and patriots every on the neutralists all ready went to ether the loyalist or a patriot but. I did not go on ether side yet every on the neutralist  went to one of the other ones except me and Beloria .We made cool name tags my name for the thing we are doing is HENNRY KENNEDY.

I like doing this project because it's fun and when we do it we need to stay in character. like shoshana in her card that says all about her it says that she is scared of indians so if people talk about them she needs to act scared.

SCIENCE EXPO

In the expo i made a poster with Jakey.  It had the Ph levels on it we worked hard on it and it looked very good. I also did a big poster with Beloria avi Shimon and judah. IT said i do not remember what it said but it was very nice.

I liked the science expo because. It was very fun and it was fun walking around and seeing the different things that other grads did like. 1st grade made ice cream i did not try it because it took a long to make because you need to make it yourself.

Because of my cozens

           My cozens are special in my life because I only see them like once a year.  But when I do see them we have a lot of fun. I have eight cozens in Israel carol is the oldest then Abe Shana   Sammy Dahlia  jo Aliza yonit . When I was in 3^rd grade the Jacobson’s moved to Israel. I remember that everyone was crying .Dahlia Shana and my mom went out side

“I’m going to miss you a lot “my ant said

“Me to “yonit said

We take pictures and said bye we waved to them until we could not see them.

I asked my mom “do you think they will ever move back “

My mom said “no I don’t think so”

 

When my aunt and uncle went to Israel for a trip yonit dahlia and Shana stayed with us. One of the nights they stayed with us it snowed. That night Sophie Shana dahlia and my mom went outside. Me yonit and al were wondering where they were because we were still up.

“Where are they” aj said

“I don’t know” yonit asked

The door opens my mom walked in.

“Where were you” I asked

“Outside why are you up”

“Because “aj said

I had a lot of playdates with yonit. We would play little pony and sometimes we would get into a little fight about what pony we would get.

“No you got it last time” yonit said

“No you had it and any way you have it whenever you want” I said

“No”

“Yes”

“No”

“Yes”

“Whatever you have it I don’t care “I said

We would also have a lot of water fights girls agents boys. There would never really be a winner it was just for fun.

“We are going to win” aj would say

“No” I said

The boys got the back yard and we got the front yard. I would go to the back yard and say to the boys can I be on your team and they would say yes. So they make water balloons and I would take a few and say.

“I’m going back to the girl’s team”

The boys would say

“Give the water balloons back “

“No”

I would go back to the girl’s team. The water fight would start we would grab the hose and start spraying. And that is my cozens from Israel

    

MORAL OF THE STORY

The story i last read was WELCOME TO DOG BEACH.   It's about a girl that went to some thing like seaside. She went every summer with her two best friends. And two new kids came and took her friends away . She got in a big  fight for a log time .




The last book i read  was WELCOME TO DOG BEACH . The moral of the story is things can't stay the same.  Because lots of her friends lots of things changed. Like she made new friends and did lots of things with them and not her other ones .

TRIMESTER 2 REFLECTION

I'm most prod of the science expo because we worked very hard on it and it looks very good.
Some activity's are a little hard like our literary  responses because it takes a lot of time and work .
I think i'm good at some math because i was one of three kids to pass a math test.

I want to improve on bringing things home to work on like some math sheets if i don't finish in class.
And i want to improve on working really hard on a lot of projects like book challenge.
I want to improve on writing projects to.


WHAT ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF ????

Winn dixie

 Opal and her Dad have a better relationship at the end  then at beginning. At the beginning it was a lot different then the end. Because at the beginning  opal and her dad were not like best buds.  at the beginning Opals dad did not want Winn dixie but at the end he loved Winn dixie. Opal and her dad had    her dad would not go out and look for Winn dixie in the rain.


I think Opal liked her dad at the end at the story because he did lots of things for her.  Like go out in the dark to look for Winn dixie. Opal had a party at the end of the book and opal made lots of friends and she made her dada have lots of friends to.

ISLANDWOOD

Islandwood  was so fun we learned lots of things. In the morning  we would get up at 6:45 and get dressed  we wold go to breakfast then we would go to tefilah and after that we would go to to are groups and do are activity's. Every day we would do activity's.  Their are lots of activities like the  flouting class room and we would go down to the Haber  and have lunch.

The best things are like the flouting class room. Or the Canopy tower it had  182 steps. Their where lots of other things to. The sesprention brig is a very long brig that is made out of medal. Every night we did yoga with the girls in my room. we would play cards and some other games.

SELF-REFLECTION

I think i did good on my over fishing report because i spent a lot if time on it. I think i did well  because it is long and good. All my things are organized and good.

I think i could do more for my next report. I want to try to do it all by myself. I  think that  if i did one report in class the next one i could do by myself.

READING!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm reading 101 Animal  Secret  it has vary cool things like it says a blue whale's weighs as much as 25 elephants. If i would choose a different title it would be fact's about 101 animal's . Because thair are lots of fact's about animal's.

I had lots of questions about the book like do all whales weigh as much as 25 elephants. Another questions  is how big is a humming birds nest. I'm like a dog because when dogs dream they bark and when i dream i talk.

Book buddy's

In book buddy's is when you meet with kindergarten. They read you a book or two then if you finish then we read them a book or two. I switch off being book buddy's with different kids .


I like it because you can remember when you where in that class. It is fun because can have a chance to read to kids. like it because  you are with a different person every time.

Ecosystems

      We did at beginning of the year it is fun at first i was in a group with Yaniv. In the middle I changed now i'm in a group with Josh and Kaden. We each have a thing  every  group have ether fertilizer or salt water or acid rain we have salt water. It is fun some times.


       I have learned a lot about ecosystem. We have learned if one animal dies all animals will die because one animal eats another animal and if that animal dies all animals will die.They help the world like if we did not have a ecosystem the world  would be mest up.


    An ecosystem is in the woods or under the water where fish live. Learning about ecosystem's helped me because now I know if a whole species of fish die's then whatever eat's that species will die and so on.  An ecocolumn changes because people put things in the water and the woods everyday and they die.

Anne frank is a girl that was a World War 2 she died when she was 15 years old. she kept a book to right in she called it kitty. the most impotent part is that when her family went into hiding she was hiding for 2 years.

She has a sister that was a few years older then her.her birthday is jun 11 1929 she was born in germany and moved a lot because of the war. anne had a lot of friends but she had to leave thim.

BOOK CHALLENGE

Book challenge I have read a couple  of books so far. We need to read 30 books this year . Some people read fast some people slow  and some read both . I read fast and slow i read 5 books so far because one of  the books was really long.

The best book i read is  Dairy of Wimpy Kid .It  is about a boy named Greg and his best friend has a girl friend and he does not have time to spend with his best friend. At the end his  his best friends girlfriend  and now he douse not have a girl friend.  


WHAT IS THE BEST BOOK YOU READ? 

MIRACLE OF HANUKKAH

The miracles of Hanukkah are why we celebrate Hanukkah. The 1st one is that we beat the Greek-Syrians in a war.The 2nd  miracle is that we had one jug of oil for the menorah but it lasted eight days.

My miracle is that we have food to eat and we are safe. Not everyone has food. I'm happy with what I have. Another miracle is that I go to school. I'm grateful for all the miracles I have.

MY TRIMESTER

I have enjoyed going to the aquarium and seeing all different fish  and sea animals. And i enjoyed doing  project like thanksgivakah  and blog post . I think I'm good at math because i was one of 3 people  to pass a test and some times i pass a lot of math sheets.I think i'm good at science because i work on it a lot .

Sometimes i do not enjoy writing because i don't think of things to writ then i'm behind of every buddy. Ido not enjoy reading because i'm a slow reader . I can improve  on reading i think if i spend more time on it .
