Wonder

The book that I am currently reading is called Wonder. The reason I am reading this book is because a couple of people recommended it and I read a book that was similar and it was called Out of My Mind and I really enjoyed it. This year so far I have read about 18 books and need about 12 more books until I have finished book challenge.

There are really not any main characters in this book because each character has pretty much there own chapters. But these are some of the characters August, Via and there parents. Via is in middle school and she has a friend that was different from the last time they saw each other. And now she dyed her hair bright pink.

    I have read 14 books this year. our book check point is 30 books. I like mystery, Fantasy and realistic fiction. I like reading because it makes you smarter and it's like watching a movie in your head. I also like it because you can show the book to your friends and they will read it and show it to other people.

     My favorite book was Holes By Louis Sachar. I liked it because all the chapters were short. I also liked it because their are flashbacks. It is also very funny. Another example is, the author likes to keep it simple yet hard at the same time. The author is one of my favorite authors EVER!

Book Challenge

 Harry Houdini is a phenomenal magician. He grew up in Europe and moved to America looking for money. As the years past he wanted to be famous. So he did street acts. He needed a assistant so he used his brother. Wen his brother messed up on a great trick he fired him. That's when he met Bess, and got married shortly after.

Houdini has helped america with a lot of things for example he taught wounded solders how to escape German handcuffs during the war . Houdini loved children one of his biggest shows money went to the local orphanage. When I grow up I would like to be like Houdini and help people in need and be remembered forever

I have read 28 out of 30 books so far. We have this thing were we have to read thirty books by the end of the year. I like to read more fantasy. I don't like historical fiction.A lot of people have made 30 books already or are very close!

My favorite book has been Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins. It is a sequel to The Hunger Games.
I like this book because It is a  really good book. the author is really good at keeping the suspense up and she is good at making things interesting. I love this book and it is really good also because I like fantasy and this is definitely fantasy.

My Book Challenge

This year I have read 22 books, I have read 2 poetry books and around 5 realistic fiction books and 3 fantasy books.My favorite book has been diary of a wimpy kid Hard Luck.Hard Luck was my favorite book because Greg struggles and he is not good at sports.I think this because if he didn't struggle and was the best at everything it would be very boring because he wouldn't have to achieve anything.
My favorite genre is fantasy and sometimes realistic fiction.

Book Challenge

I have read 22 books this year. You have to read 30 books this year and i am on track. I have read a lot  of good books this year. I think that a lot of kids in my class have read a lot of good books.

My favorite book so far is probably Mrs.Frisby And The Rats of NIMH. I think it is the best book i have read because it is a mystery and i love mysteries. The book is about A rat who can talk and she is a widow and she has a child who is sick and she has to move or they will die. Read the book to find out the rest.

Whats Happening in Reading

I have read 12 books, our goal is 30. I have read fantasy and realistic fiction and more. I am surprised that I have less than I used to read so many more books last year. I used to not read so much fantasy but now I read more of fantasy. I had to read fantasy one and I loved the book.

My favorite book is most likely Diary of Wimpy Kid because it's funny. the summary is that Greg lose his best friend because a girl. the girl would not let to do what Rowley wants to do like eating off the ground.

Greg has to do every thing by himself can handle it?   

BOOK CHALLENGE

Book challenge I have read a couple  of books so far. We need to read 30 books this year . Some people read fast some people slow  and some read both . I read fast and slow i read 5 books so far because one of  the books was really long.

The best book i read is  Dairy of Wimpy Kid .It  is about a boy named Greg and his best friend has a girl friend and he does not have time to spend with his best friend. At the end his  his best friends girlfriend  and now he douse not have a girl friend.

Judy Blume Superfudge

In the book Challenge  I  read 5 books so far .I read many genres like Realistic fiction and other ones too. I like nonfiction,but I still read other kinds. I  like to read books about animals and the ecosystem.

The best book I read is Judy Blume Superfudge.It's about the life of two brothers that don't get along.The book is really funny.That's one of the books I mostly like.You should read it, you'll want to read it again and again . Have you read  this book?

 

Book Challenge

I have been reading a lot and so far I have read 14 books. I think I've been doing well in the book challenge. I have been surprised many times for example, I thought the book I was reading was really bad but I tried it again and it was really good. I've read many genres like fantasy, realistic fiction, classic and other ones too.

The best book I've read was I Funny by, James Patterson.  It was really funny in most parts. The main character is Jaime. His best friends are Pierre and Garcon. Pierre has a nose ring and tattoos. Garcon is really smart and funny.  Jamie is in a wheelchair and the main idea is that he wants to be popular.  It's my favorite book because he does really funny stuff.

Reading Blog Post

      I read 8 books this year And I'm working on it when I can. I have read a lot of genres like realistic fiction, information, poetry and mystery. My favorite genre is realistic fiction. I like realistic fiction because it could happen. That makes it kind of real and it has stuff that can't happen but it makes sense. I have been surprised by my experience. I didn't know that I liked realistic fiction then I read a realistic fiction book and I loved it.

         The best book I have read is Jedi Academy. Jedi Academy is the best book I have read is Jedi Academy because it was realistic fiction. Another reason is I liked how it had star wars characters but it wasn't about star wars. But it made the book better it bet better. It was also I really funny book.

What I'm Reading

I'm reading a book called "mockingjay." It is the third book of the Hunger Games trilogy.
The Hunger Games is a punishment to all the districts for the rebellion that happened 75 years ago,
in the Hunger Games there are two tributes from each district and they all go to an arena and fight to
the death.

The main character is Katniss Everdeen she lived in District 12 until president Snow bombed it, Katniss struggles with thought that President Snow is watching her and her family and her friends. For Example, peeta is in the capitol and president Snow can kill peeta.

My Book Challenge

 In my book challenge I have read 10 books. I have read 3 realistic fiction books, 2 fantasy, 1 biography and I just finished an informational. One book was over three hundred pages so it counted as two books. I read a book called Edgar and Ellen and I couldn't figure out what genre it was.

 It’s hard to choose my favorite book but I think I have to say it was Who Was Abraham Lincoln. I think this because I learned a few cool facts from it like one night before his assassination he had a dream that he went to a play and someone was killed. Also he had  a kid named  Tad who had a big head so the Lincoln family called him that. Sadly Tad died at the age of three.

Book Challenge by Binyamin

I have read 29/30 books for the 5^th grade yearly book challenge. I keep on reading and I am really enjoying it. I have read books for every genre and all I have left is to read one more genre. Sometimes I think that I don’t like a genre, but when I read one I realize that they are not as bad as I thought. For example, I once had to read a myth book as one of my genres for a book challenge in 4^th grade. I thought that I would not like it but it turned out to be the opposite.

One book that I like best for this year’s book challenge is a book called theBFG (The big Friendly Giant). I liked the book a lot because it is a made up story about a girl’s life meeting a giant. The book starts off when the girl named Sophie. Sophie was looking out her window from her orphanage. The BFG is a friendly giant and was giving lovely dreams to the people of her town (but of course she did not know that. The BFG takes her some ware and the BFG and Sophie get to know each other. They become friends and they work together to stop other giants from terrorizing kids.

My Book Challenge

     I have read 15 books in my book challenge. Most of the books I have read were really good, if you were to come and ask me what books to read I would recommend most of them to. For example I would recommend Theodore Boone, Undead Ed, Diary of a Wimpy Kid and the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. I mostly read adventure books.

     My favorite book is the book that I am reading. It is called Jurassic Park, by Michael Crichton. I like it because it is interesting. For example, one of the dinosaur ate a baby. Jurassic Park is about mankind  recreating dinosaurs and trying to control the dinosaur world on a small island. They find out that its harder to control large creatures that can eat you.
