Soccer on the Island

There was once a group of boys who lived on a village for fisherman and it was in the country of Thailand.

The kids loved watching soccer but they never played it.

They decided to build a platform  on the water but but it was not well done. There was nails sticking out and a lot of kids fell into the water.

They saw a flyer for a tournament on the mainland so they decided to join but none of the grownups thought they would be any good.

They practiced a lot and right before they got on the boat to go to the mainland an adult gave them uniforms, cleats, socks, shinguard's and shorts so they could play.

THE TOURNAMENT

They won their first game game 2-0 and noticed they were better than they thought they were.

The day of the semifinals it was raining they were playing bad and there was water in their shoes. By the time it was halftime they were down 2-0.

They decided to take off their shoes. They were very light on their feet and could easily get passed their defenders. They got 2 easy goals and they were tied.

The other team started playing better defense after that. They scored a goal in the last minute and Pawnee F.C. lost but it was a good game.

Everyone was proud about about how good they did and that was how Pawnee F.C. started.

Great soccer minds

In 1986 a group of boys on a floating island in Thailand would always watch soccer but never play. One day one of the boys had a great idea that they should make a team. They knew they didn’t have anywhere to play so they made a new soccer field with old planks of wood.  They would play all the time one day one of the boys came running with a flyer and it was for a soccer games.  So they entered and got to the semifinals and were down 2-0 at half time they were used to playing with out there shoes on so they took off their shoes and tied up the game 2-2 at the last min but they were still proud of themselves

From the Water to the Pitch

A group of young boys from a small island in South Thailand loved to watch football(soccer). They loved it so muchthey built a pith to play on, even though it wasn't great at first. The field was by the water so that's where the ball went sometimes, since the pitch was so small thier footwork became pretty great. One day one kid in the group came with a flyer that read "Soccer Tourtament" so the boys joined and won the first game of the tourtament but the next game wasn't as great as  the first, they were playing in horrible weather conditions, still down 2-0 at halftime but later on they came back and tied it by two terrific goals...Suddenly in the last moment the other team scores to take the lead 3-2. Sadley Panyee FC couldn't come back. So that's the story about Panyee FC boys to play the sport they loved. (Announcer voice) "And now a word a from our sponser, well instesd of an annoying adveritisment we will tell you the moral of the story. Which is.. Never Give Up."

This has been a Sam Holland story

No Space but A Lot of Soccer

There was a group of boys that watched soccer on their little T.V. One of the boys had an idea. They thought it was a very good idea.

The Idea

The boy’s idea was to make a soccer team. But did I mention they lived on a floating island in Thailand and space can be hard to find.

Space
They had to have somewhere where they can play to play. So they made a soccer field, but the soccer field had nails sticking out of it and water all over it so it was very slippery.
The Flyer
One of the boys came in with a flyer. On the flyer it had a soccer ball. The headline was soccer tournament. They didn’t know if they should do it… But they did.
1st
On their first game they won 2-0. They were better than they they thought they would be. They were very proud even though there were disbelievers.
2nd
They lost their 2nd game. They tried really hard. But because it was raining they took off their shoes they were still proud. But the disbelievers turned into believers.
