Digital Passport

               I learned a lot from digital passport. I think the walking and talking lesson taught me a lot things. The bullying online I think taught me not to be mean online. The thing I thought that taught me the most was the not giving to much information.

               The walking and talking taught me to not talk while crossing a street. Also you may go somewhere that you are not supposed to when not looking up with a phone. I learned from the bullying online that it is bullying and it is really mean. From not giving to much information I learned that not to give your last name in a comment or where you live. If you give to much information someone can find you.

Franny and Littmus Lozenges

                 I think she was wrong to compare Littmus Lozenges to life. I think this because because in time of war there was no happiness at all. In the time of war being over there wasn't that much sadness. but every once and a while there will be both happiness and sadness will go together.

               There is no happiness in war. there is no happiness in war because you are always crying about he's my country is dying and everything is going bad. In the time of war being over your so happy that you won and everything is better. over all there is a tiny bit of both, i think this because there is time when someone will die in your family while your getting a present.

Because of Winn- Dixie

               Opal has a very small relationship with her dad at the begining of the book. I think this because at the beining he barly liked Winn- Dixie. He was less nice to Opal compaired to the end of the book. I think that this because at the beging of the book he was ahrd on Opal about dogs. At the end of the book he was trying to find Winn-Dixie.

               I think at the end of the book the preacher had a better realatinship with Opal. I think this because he acting more like a dad and came to the party of Opal. He also having a better relationship by helping find Winn-Dixie. I think the preacher has changed a lot by bieng nice a lot. I think Winn-Dixie helped the preacher a lot in his life.

Oil Spills By Yaniv Naggar

            Oil spills are a huge problem because they are killing a lot of animals. Oil spills there are many causes and effects and what we can do.

            Many things can cause oil spills. For example, there are tankers crashing. Another example is, the weather, the weather can cause it by hurricanes. They can also be caused by water sports because they leak oil from the boats.

            Oil spills can affect the ecosystem in terrible ways. An example, is it can kill animals, it has killed 6,813 in the Gulf of Mexico, the killer whales can get killed by the oil clogging there blowhole and also makes birds unable to fly, bottled nosed dolphins are underweight. Oil spills can also affect the ecosystem by going into the water and poisoning it so when fish eat their food it will go into them. Finally, it kills many plants. It kills plants by taking away the photosynthesis. It will take it away by covering the water so the plants are unable to get some sun so they can’t get photosynthesis.

            There are many ways you can help. You can help by giving public awareness people also this as telling other people so they know about it. Another way you can help is by raising money and giving it to World Wildlife Fund. You can also help by boating less that will make less oil spills happen.

            President Obama said, “We will fight oil spills with everything we've got.” Billy Nungesser president of Plaquemines Parish said, “They said the black oil wouldn’t come ashore. Well, it is ashore. It’s here to stay and it’s going to keep coming.” It’s a threat to the planet. If it’s so bad then why do we keep doing this?

IslandWood

            The summery about was probably stinky bob. We did each one teach one and I got stinky bob it grew pink flowers. It was so much better because I got more sleep from9:40pm to 7:00am.

            My favorite experience was probably the Canopy Tower. It was probably my favorite because it took a long time you get to the top and it was shaking at the top. It was super fun.

Boys Without Names

      Boys Without Names By Kashmira Sheth is realistic fiction. If I were to give this book a different title it would be tortured. I would pick this name because the people were really getting tortured in many different ways.

     Why is Scar so mean? I wonder this because nobody is as mean as him. I think GC is a big jerk. I think this because he is so mean for a kid. 

Watsons Go to Birmingham

Kenny is living with his mom, dad, brother and sister. He is getting bullied by his older brother. He is going to Birmingham. He is having a very hard time. He probably wishes he doesnt get drooled on by his sister.

Kenny is 10 or 11. He is black.  He believes in almost anything. He is very week. He tries to get away from his brother a lot.


I can not relate to kenny very well. He is very non athletic and I am.

Jurassic Park

     My favorite book is the book that I am reading. It is called Jurassic Park, by Michael Crichton. I like it because it is interesting. For example, one of the dinosaur ate a baby. Jurassic Park is about mankind  recreating dinosaurs and trying to control the dinosaur world on a small island. They find out that its harder to control large creatures that can eat you.

     When I read the part about the dinosaur eating the baby and the person seeing it made me feel kind of awkward knowing that the person knowing it did not tell anybody at all whatsoever. It was kind of awkward that nobody believed that little girl that it had three toes and it had a really long neck and had sharp teeth.

     I feel really good for Dr. Grant. He has found a dinosaur which is crazy. Its crazy because there were no dinosaurs. If I saw a dinosaur I would freak out because they're huge and they would kill me pretty fast. The people who saw the dinosaur were not scared at all .I wonder what happens next?

Miracles of Hanukkah

     Some miracles of Hanukkah are lighting of the menorah. Another, the lighting staying for eight days.that many miracles is a lot. That many is crazy




     One of my miracles is moving to Seattle from New York safely making new friends and living in a great home. Another miracle is that I went to a Clippers game and got after passes and I saw Jamal Crawford.

My Book Challenge

     I have read 15 books in my book challenge. Most of the books I have read were really good, if you were to come and ask me what books to read I would recommend most of them to. For example I would recommend Theodore Boone, Undead Ed, Diary of a Wimpy Kid and the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. I mostly read adventure books.

Chase From Storm Runner

   Chase and his dad are the only ones living in his direct family. Chase's mom and sister died in a car crash. His dad got hit by lightning, ever since then his dad pays very close attention to the weather. Chase does not have very much time with his dad. He lives in another family's house. In the other family there is a grandma, father and daughter.             

   Chase is very nice. An example is, he offers to help all of the time. Another example is, he is blaming himself for something he hadn't done. For example, his dad got hit by lightning and he was blaming himself. He is very fond of building things. People ask him questions and he always gives honest answers. He is very protective. An example is when he got the daughter from the other family away from the massive lion. 

   I can relate to Chase. I know why he is protective of other people. He is 
protective of other people because his mom and sister died. I also understand why he helps so much. I know this because he doesn't want to get kicked out of the family's house. I don't know why he wants to be with his dad so much.

My Ecocolumn at School

At science we attached a aquarium and terrarium. Some of the water in the terrarium is going into the aquarium. In our aquarium our snails had babies and we have a fish. In are terrarium we have a slug, snail, cricket, roly poly and a worm. Are fish died with a bone sticking out of it. It's awesome!!

The animals eat the algae off the rock. Our animals need the dirt,leaf litter and rocks. Our animals need the elodea and duckweed to breath. it also rely on the holes at the top

Math at School

We have been working on stuff in math, a examples is percentage of quantity. to do percentage of quantity you have to take a certain percent out of a number. an example is 25 out of 100 would be 25%.

Melody's Field Trip and Friendship

I think that Melody leaned that you can have a lot of friends but you can't have all of them. I think this because, at the aquarium she had a couple of friends but not all. For example, Melody had Rose with her when she went to the aquarium but there were two mean kids (Molly and Clair.).

I think Melody thinks that Ollie would like the fish tank. (with out the sharks.) I think this because there is more room for Ollie and Melody would be able to see her.

I think Melody told us about Ollie because Ollie was like Melody.

the reason for this is that ollie is always going in a circle over and over again like melody.

sukkah with the eighth graders

I learned some rules about the sukkah.One of the rules were that the sukkah could not be doubled.Another one was that you could only have 21/2, 3 and 4 walls. The sukkah was made out of graham crackers, red vines, pretzels and frosting.
