Chanukah and my Miracles
Beating the
Syrian-Greeks wow! What a miracle, the miracle was that since the Jews were way
fewer than the Greeks and we beat them that was really crazy since the Greeks
were a big army. The Jews got an army and G-d to help
them beat the Syrian-Greeks. The second miracle was when the Jews only had
enough olive oil to light the Menorah for one day, but G-d made a miracle and the Menorah'slight lasted for eight days instead of one.

Things that seem like miracles to me are like having my family and if I did not have a family I might not have been here, and wouldn't even have made this post. Good thing I am here. Another miracle is that I am healthy or I could not have even been able to write this. I really love Chanukah and I am grateful for my miracles.
What is a miracle that happened to
you?
Do you think the miracles of Chanukah
are really miracles?
Hi Binyamin,
ReplyDeletethe miracle that happened to me happened in a park three years ago.I was playing on the bleachers at the park with my friend Dina near the dust. And all of a sudden it was getting hard to breathe. My teacher saw me and was scared, and called the school nurse (Rena Berger) and she called my mom.My mom was on Mercer Island, when she herd I was having a hard time breathing she asked Rena to take me home and call 911.After that I had to spend six hours in the hospital.I was scared the entire time ,but I am lucky to be alive.

Hi Binyamin,
ReplyDeleteWow, that's really cool! I'm not Jewish and I don't celebrate Chanukah either so I don't really know much about it. Our school is going to have a holiday sing soon and one of the songs is about Chanukah. I never knew that Chanukah could be spelled like this. Who is G-d? I know one miracle that happened to was when I was really little and I fell back on my head and I was practically screaming my head off. But turns out it wasn't that bad, although I did have trouble walking because I was too dizzy. But I was okay. I'm really thankful for that.
