Photosynthesis

We haven't learned much about photosynthesis but I did some extra research.  Photosynthesis is when plants take the carbon dioxide and sunshine they can make oxygen.  We humans and animals use the oxygen and give out CO2 (carbon dioxide).  That is the cycle of humans and plants, we give CO2. Plants take CO2 they give O2 and we take that oxygen.

Sometimes if you put a snail underwater and a plant the plant will live even if the plant can't get carbon dioxide underwater.  In class we made aquariums we put snails and elodea in the water.  Even though the plants can't get any CO2 the snails will give them the carbon dioxide that they need.

Have you ever tried an experiment like that with plants and snails?

  2. That's super cool. I never knew about the snail and plant. I might try that sometime.

  3. Dear Gabe,

I do know what photosynthesis is and you explained it very well I did do a project like that I think it was the same. Do you want to do it again?
