Science Ecocolumn

Our aquarium had 2 snails in it named Turbo and Guppo. They both died in the first three weeks of captivity. Then we added a fish named Ollie. We have elodea, duck weed, gravel and water in our aquarium as well. Our elodea has grown 2 inches since we got it.

Our terrarium has a rock, twig, leaf litter, cricket, worms and grass.
The lowest piece of grass is 2 centimeters and the biggest piece is 18 centimeters. A week later, our worms and fish died. Now all we have for animals is a cricket.

The grass realize on the water to grow. And without  crickets the grass would get to high. and the worms used to help the dirt produce the grass.

  1. Hi Kaden, the ecocolumn seems pretty cool. I liked how you really described the grass. Did you make the ecocolumn?

  2. Hi Kaden,

I like how you describe the most important thing about the ecosystem, which is that all of the organisms rely on each other to survive. Can you think of any other examples in nature where the plants and animals rely on each other?

Were you sad when Turbo and Guppo died?

Thank you for your great post!
