Eretz Yisrael Throughout the Ages & Chumash

Students continue to work on our new Israel curriculum, Eretz Yisrael Throughout the Ages. This week we learned more about the area of Yehuda & Shomron. Students read about the cities of Shilo, Beit El, and Shechem. They created posters illustrating something in history that happened in these cities.

In Chumash we finished Perek Gimel in Shemot. We were captivated by the story of Moshe at the Burning Bush. Students are working hard on dissecting the text to find verbs and shorashim. They also continue to hone thier questioning skills. We are learning to "notice" and "wonder" when learning Chumash. When we complete a perek we work on a project. This perek's project is writing plays for "The Burning Bush, Part I". Looking forward to finishing and performing our plays after break.

Coming up after break...
-Hebrew Reading Challenge
-Navi, the story of Gidon continues

Enjoy a restful and fun filled winter break. See you in January!
