Queen Elizabeth was born in England September seventh 1533. Her parents King Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn. Elizabeths mother promised the king a boy but when Elizabeth was born he was furious. The king also thought she would never have a boy so she was sentenced to death for a crime she didn't commit, also Elizabeth was only three when her mom was beheaded. Elizabeth was sent away from her father and was taken care of. As she got older she learned to read and write like any other princess she was expected too. Henry VIII got remarried and that wife gave birth to a son named Edward. Nine years later Henry died and Edward became king at age nine. Edward often became sick and died when he was fifteen. Then his oldest daughter Mary became queen. Mary was a bad queen the people would call her ''Bloody Mary''. Mary locked Elizabeth in the tower of England for three months because she thought Elizabeth was a threat. but Elizabeth became Queen after Mary died in 1558 November 17.
Elizabeth had a hard life for example, she never got to see her father, she was locked in the tower of London, and had Smallpox. If I where the queen they could be what ever kind of religion they wanted. Also to be as fare as possible. But the queen doesn't make those decisions anymore the government does, so really the queen just sits there looking pretty. But then again it's more stress relieving for the queen.
Dear,
ReplyDeleteKaden I loved your blog post you explained a lot about her I think a sad part is when she could never see her dad I would not like that and to be locked in a tower
