Island wood was so much fun. On the first day in my group we picked nature names, my name was Kadenroo. That night we went on a night hike. We where blindfolded and only held on to the person in front of us. The next day we went to pearl harbor and it a 3 mile walk! And the next day we went to the canopy tower which had 152 steps. And on the last day we took a solo hike. I also liked meeting people from different schools like Shira and Audrey.
I learned so much at Island Wood for example, I learned all the important trees names Alter, Cedar, Maple, Hemlock and the Douglas Fir. We also leaned funny songs to remember the names. I also learned about how much food waste 75 kids can have the heaviest amount of food waste as 15 pounds and the lowest was 3.
