Heroin of the American Revolution.


Robert Morris, and George Ross gave Betsy a sketch of a flag and the flag has six pointed stars but Betsy suggested five pointed stars and sewed it in her back parlor. Betsy Ross sewed the first flag because when you become a country you need a flag. Betsy Ross sewed the first American flag. According to Ms. Nussbaum (Her flag flew with the reading of Declaration of Independence at Independence Hall on July 8th, 1776. Betsy Ross’s legacy is that she sewed the first flag.

    Hi Beloria,
    I thin it is pretty cool that Bestsy Ross sewed the first american flag. Do you know why she sewd 5 stars instead of 6.
